Getting up early the next day, the king discussed with his subjects, what to say to Shani.
Having made a decision, he asked his people to get two divine thrones in the court. One was to be made of Gold, the other of Silver. The thrones were kept on two sides of his throne.
Lakshmi and Shani came and sat on the thrones and were duly worshiped by the king.
They wanted to know who was superior.
The king said., One the left sits the ordinary and on the right the superior. Shani was offended, as he was on the left, and he left the court.
Lakshmi said, as you pleased me, I will remain with you for ever. Saying, she blessed the king and left.
Shani decided to wait for an opportunity to come, when he would be able to have his revenge on the king.
